John Tomaras has over 16 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution in the Sydney and Australia. In 2007, he established what is now Tomaras Lawyers a boutique commercial firm largely experienced providing Commercial, Litigation and Corporate advice and legal services.
His principal place of practice is Sydney and recently opened an office in Melbourne but he also has extensive experience in advising and assisting clients with construction disputes and arbitration in the UAE and Asia (Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines) and advising Australians with respect to Greek legal disputes through his associated law firms.
He has worked, advised and attended to projects in the UAE, Asia and Greece as well as appeared in appeared as co-counsel in a number of matters in the UAE and Asia.
John has extensive experience in civil, commercial and corporate laws in Australia and the UAE and has worked closely with his overseas associated offices in a number of matters. He has acted as counsel at a number of disputes and arbitration in Australia and internationally including the UAE.
He is currently a member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors and legal counsel for a number of medium size corporations with local and international projects. His practice focuses primarily on local and international clients in intellectual property, construction and commercial litigation.
